This glass craft museum is located a three-minute walk from Jiyugaoka Station. Various glass crafts from the late 19th to early 20th century are showcased, especially Art Nouveau lamps, which are admired for their flower motifs. Inside the building away from the hustle and bustle near the station, you can experience things out of the ordinary in an elegant space. In this dignified atmosphere, you can see the glass crafts of Emile Galle, the Daum brothers, Argy-Rousseau, etc. Also, the museum has a cafe decorated with Art Nouveau furniture and posters of Alphonse Mucha where you can enjoy the taste of carefully selected coffees in a calm space.

こちらは、自由が丘駅より徒歩4分くらい、サンセットアレイ通りの角のビルの地下にあります。伺うと改装工事中であり残念でした。

自由が丘駅前の宝飾品、一誠堂さんが経営する美術館。地下に入るとガレの世界が広がっています。常設で空いているので、ゆったり間近から作品を鑑賞できます。併設のカフェではミュシャの世界が広がっており、まさに自由が丘のアールヌーボー空間です。

東急線自由が丘駅の前に一誠堂という時計やアクセサリーを取り扱っているお店がありますが、そちらが運営している美術館がもう少し奥まった場所にあるセザーム自由が丘の地下一階にありました。有料ではありますが、素敵なガラス工芸品が展示されていました。
