A Japanese confectioner located along Konyamachi-nishi-dori Avenue in Daimyo 1-Chome. This long-standing shop has been open for nearly 90 years and produces a variety of Japanese sweets including Daifuku rice cakes stuffed with bean paste and Ohagi red bean paste formed around a rice cake center, as well as traditional Sekihan adzuki beans and rice. Their most popular offering has always been their Mame-Daifuku, a rice dumpling made with red peas, and it often sells out quickly.

大名紺屋町通りの角にある、和菓子屋さん。色々美味しいけれど、一番のお薦めは、豆大福。大きめの黒豆が餅に練り込んであり、食感がたまりません。

和菓子一筋85年、都会のど真ん中に、昭和の雰囲気が漂う和菓子やさんがあったので、買ってみました。お赤飯も置いています。購入したのは豆大福。少し甘めのお大福ですが、ボリュームもあり満足できます。おやつ用に。
