"This Japanese confectionery store is located on the approach to the foot of Mt. Takao. Since its establishment in 1897, it has continued delivering offerings to Mt. Takao, while at the same time manufacturing and selling Takao rice crackers and Takao manju in the shape of autumn leaves for ordinary customers. The ""Takao manju"" are a classic souvenir from Mt. Takao and come in two varieties: white manju with finely strained bean paste, and brown manju with chunky bean paste. In addition to the manju buns, you can have coffee or matcha green tea in the store steeped with personality."

以前の体験ですが・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・和菓子店で、高尾まんじゅうが店の売りとなっている。ちょっとした長椅子とテーブルがあり、甘味を店内で食することも可能。まんじゅうの購入者はサービスでお茶を頂くことができる。
高尾山土産に丁度良い

高尾山御用達と標記されてました。薄皮饅頭です。粒あんとこし餡に2種類で茶饅頭と白饅頭で色分けされてます。丁度店先で温かいお茶頂きながらお土産以外に1個頂きました。高尾山登山の後に甘い物は最高ですね。110円／個も良心的な価格で好感度高いですね。

高尾山の麓にある飲食店やお土産屋が立ち並ぶ道沿いにある高尾山御用達のお店。なんと明治30年代の創業で屋号の有喜堂は高尾山薬王院有喜寺より貰ったそうです。ここでは高尾まんじゅう、高尾せんべい、大杉まんじゅう等を、製造して販売する直営店で店内にはゆっくり休憩できる場所もあります。高尾山訪問後、カキ氷が食べたいのと休みたかったので立ち寄りました。品のある素敵なお店でした。
