This restaurant situated on a mountain road on Mt. Yoshino serves delicious river fish. The restaurant's wild river fish is sprinkled with salt or covered with breading and skewered whole before cooking; takeout is also available. The establishment's numerous varieties of bo sushi, handmade croquettes, and deep-fried deer sirloin kushikatsu skewers are also highly popular. Notably, the restaurant's bo sushi is served as-is rather than being wrapped in a persimmon leaf as is common.

アマゴの空揚げが美味しく、お土産に買った焼きアマゴの姿ずしも美味しかった。

買い食いしながら吉野の山を歩き、勝手神社へ行った後に立ち寄りました。店先で売っているアマゴの空揚げをいただきましたが、香ばしくてカリカリで頭からおいしくいただけました。あまりに美味しかったので店内で売られていた焼き穴子の姿ずしも買い求めましたが、これも美味しかったです。店内でも食事が出来るようでしたが、バスツアーでの滞在3時間ではゆっくりする時間が無かったのが残念です。
川魚料理の店

吉野山の中千本勝手神社の上の街道沿いにある川魚料理の店。店で食事もできますが店頭でアマゴの塩焼きがお土産に購入出来ます。魚好きにはたまりません。
焼き鮎がすごい迫力

こちらは、焼き鮎がすごい迫力。緑の器に盛り付けてとても美しいですね。これに寿司飯を詰めて一本の姿寿司に仕上げます。香ばしい鮎の味わいとやさしい酸味の寿司飯の組み合わせがなんともいえない味でした。
