The Karako-Kagi archeological site occupies an important position in the study of ancient Yayoi period culture. Occupying 42 hectares, it is the largest such site in the Kinki region and excavations have been ongoing since it was first discovered over a century ago. This museum displays a portion of the vast quantities of archeological artefacts found at the site.

    Aber der Weg ist beschwehrlich und nicht wirklich einfach ohne Wanderung an Straßen oder Busverkerhr zu erreichen.

    見学するのに200円必要。ただし、文化の日などイベントがあるときは無料開放している。資料は確かに貴重なもので、参考になるのも多い。が、広く知ってもらったり興味を持っていただくことも必要なのでここは無料開放して欲しい。この施設で唯一行きにくいトコロ。。。。

    土器など、唐古遺跡等近辺で発掘されたものが展示されています。 埴輪がありました。昔テレビで見たはに丸を思い出しました。歴史に興味のある方は必見です。
