"This park is a 20-minute drive from the Hamamatsu-Hamakita Interchange on the Shin-Tomei Expressway. Befitting its location in the Hamakita Ward, known for its greenery, this lush park is used to grow 300 varieties of plants believed, based on a variety of sources and research, to be described in the ""Man'yoshu,"" Japan's oldest poetry anthology. The park is also maintained as a facility where visitors can learn about and experience the culture and literature of the ""Man'yoshu."" Plants from the ""Man'yoshu"" are grown all across the park, and visitors can come in contact with the seasonal culture that is highly emphasized in the poems of the anthology. In the park's Kibe no Kobo studio, you can try activities such as ""Man'yoshu"" era kusaki-zome plant extract fabric dyeing, and pressing vibrantly colored flowers."

お不動さんとコンビでよくいきます。中でつながっているので、万葉の森の駐車場に停めると階段を上らずにすみます。季節を感じられる庭なので、季節ごとによくいきます。ポーっとくつろぎにいきます。
和のテイストの森の公園

万葉の森公園は、不動寺と隣り合わせになっています。不動寺の駐車場に車を止めてもいかれますが万葉の森公園の入口は、山の上にあるので歩いて山を登らないといけないことを考えると山の上の駐車場車を止めるのがお勧めです！日本庭園と森をイメージした和のテイストの公園です。資料館もありますのでこちらも是非見て頂きたいです！花の咲く季節がお勧めですから春から初夏が良いですね！
のんびりと散策できる無料の公園

万葉集に詠まれた植物が中心に植えられ散策できる公園で、平安時代風の門や万葉資料館があり無料で楽しめました。学生時代に学んだ万葉集を少し思い出しながら、展示を見させていただきました。
