This day-use hot spring bathhouse is located just next to the Kainano bus stop. It is on the right side of Prefectural Route 59 pass to the third bridge heading from the mouth of the river. The bathhouse is situated in a community surrounded by greenery on the banks of the Nishina River. As the name suggests, guests can soak in the baths while listening to the sound of the river as they enjoy spending a few quiet hours away from the urban hustle and bustle. The bathhouse features indoor and outdoor baths fed by calcium and sodium sulfate springs. The baths are rather spacious for a town-operated hot spring bathhouse and there is also lounge, making the bathhouse a great place to stop by while sightseeing.

せせらぎが聞こえる距離に

中心地から仁科川をほ北東に上がっていくとあります。２ｋｍ弱なので車では直ぐです。名前の通りせせらぎが聞こえる距離に川が流れていて、親しみが沸いてきます。西伊豆は、温泉地でもありますが住民の割に銭湯が多いことから、観光客も利用しているということでしょうか。狭いながら内湯と外湯とを楽しめます。休憩所もあり、寛ぐには丁度いいですが、唯一料金が…。

釣りをした帰りに寄ってさっぱりして自宅に帰ります。６００円と少し高めですがタオル一つで入れます。シャンプー、ボディーソープは常備されてます。女性の方はご自宅から持参された方が無難かも(^^)湯船は内湯に一つ、屋根付きの外に一つ。柔らかなお湯で半身浴にもいいかと。休憩室は質素でテーブル一つの畳のへやです。ドライヤー、コインロッカーはあります。
