Herb Village
A seven-minute walk from the Ikeda Art Museum bus stop, a 30-minute ride on the Shaboten Park Bus from JR Ito Station. The garden offers free admission and includes a glass walled green house and seasonal herb garden on their 2,000-tsubo (nearly 6,600 square meters) plot surrounded by nature. In the shop they offer potpourri as well as nearly 50 varieties of dried herbs and herb related products including essential oils. Seeds and seedlings are also available. Hands-on classes are offered where you can learn to make handmade herb soaps and sauces as well as other items.
