"The hot spring water at this onsen is naturally dark as ink and has earned it the name Kuro-yu, or ""Black Hot Water."" About five minutes on foot from Kamata Station, the water is pumped up from 120 meters underground. The area around today's Ota Ward is thought to have been at the bottom of the sea in ancient times. Runoff from fossilized vegetative matter and peat deep underground mixing with the geothermal water has resulted in the brown-black hot spring of today. Tasteless, odorless, and weakly alkaline, it has a reputation for making the skin smooth and keeping the body nice and warm for an extended period. The bathhouse is equipped with features like a cascade bath, a vibrating bath, and a sitting bath for extended relaxation."

えきちかの温泉

銭湯というより、温泉レジャー施設の雰囲気である。階上は居酒屋かカラオケがあるらしく、とても賑やかであった。銭湯部分と階上部分は自由に行き来出来るらしい。銭湯施設は、新しさは無いものの、ジャグジーやサウナも揃っている。黒湯の温泉は別棟にあるのだが、透明度ほぼゼロの真っ黒なもので、白いタオルなら一瞬で、醤油で煮染めたようになる。サラッとしてて、床が滑らないのは良い。どちらにしてもコレで470円はお得だ...

蒲田に所用があったときに立ち寄りました。半露天風呂は温泉で他は普通の沸かし湯です。温泉は真っ暗で全然底が見えません。お湯は柔らかく長風呂できそう。実際は常連客が半分くらい占拠してて少しもしかつかれませんでした。
居心地の良い銭湯でした

お風呂は明るくとても清潔感がありました。露天風呂では黒湯を楽しめます。お風呂上がりには是非二階の宴会場で一杯を。
