Ikego Ruins Museum

Reference/Local/Exhibition/Literature Museum
This museum houses and exhibits artifacts discovered through excavations at the Ikego Ruins. The survey covered 119,000 square meters of the 2.88 million square meters provided to the U.S. military. In the 60 years access to the site has been restricted, excavations have unearthed many structural remnants, including a Yayoi period canal, as well as tens of thousands of artifacts in good condition, many more than originally expected.
