Kaminosekicho Tokusanbutsu Center

Direct Sales Store
A product hall with a white chalk exterior and a semi-circular eaves. They display and sell local Kaminoseki produce, prepared marine products, and folk crafts. Their dried flounder known as denbera, debira, or debera depending on the region is a winter food tradition that has not changed since ancient times. Typically, it's wrapped in newspaper and pounded, then the softened flesh is roasted. In addition to selling Kaminoseki local favorites like tempura and dried hijiki, they also take orders for kokko fruit and Japanese tiger prawns on a seasonal basis.
