Tokotoko Train
A sightseeing trolley that runs from Nishikicho Station in Hirose, Nishiki-cho, Iwakuni City to Fukagawa's Sozukyo Onsen in the same city. It operates on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, as well as during spring break and summer vacation. The train traverses an approximately six kilometer, 40-minute route along the Usa River where a railway was originally planned. It doesn't operate in winter. The natural scenery along the river includes seasonal flowers such as cluster amaryllis, rose of Sharon, and cherry blossoms that form a tunnel in spring. At the 1,796-meter Kirara Yume Tunnel you can take in the fantastic ornamentation done by local elementary and university students.
