Iwakuni Educational Museum

A museum located in 3 Chome, Iwakuni, Iwakuni City. It's housed in the Iwakuni Gakko Kosha; built in 1870 by the second lord of Iwakuni, Tsunetake Kikkawa, it's a prefectural Tangible Cultural Property. The museum exhibits educational materials and items from the region. Also exhibited are materials related to Ichisuke Fujioka; an Iwakuni Gakko graduate, he was the founder of Tokyo Electric Power Company, the first electric company in Japan.

    在GOOGLE MAP找郵局經過看到它, 由於是免費進入參觀的, 所以我們去完郵局便順路入去參觀, 由於我們不懂日文, 職員小姐用她有限度的英文介紹後便讓我們隨意參觀, 雖然談話不多, 但她很友善熱情, 而知道我們是香港來的遊客, 會入內參觀更有一點驚喜, 館內有很多以前小朋友的書, 也有介紹某人(你們自己去看便會知是誰原來讓外國人對日本人令眼相看...

    岩国出身の藤岡市助さんの功績が多く展示されている資料館です。入場無料ですが館内の展示は充実してます。受付の方の丁寧な説明により市営バスのいちすけ号が、かつて同じルートを走っていた路面電車だと初めて知りました。地元市民としてはとてもお勧めの場所です。
