Ishijirogawa Beach
A beach located right next to an urban area on the east side of Shikinejima Island, one of its draws is its convenient accessibility from nearby inns. The site of an Edo period salt panning sight, and Daio Shrine, popular sightseeing destinations, are also close by. Here visitors can enjoy snorkeling and diving; in addition, when the tide is low, you can see a variety of creatures in the tide pools which form. The waters of the white sand beach are clear and the waves are gentle, making the beach a safe place to play and swim, as well. Visitors are recommended to enjoy the beach along with the nearby campground.
