Tagohonke Sake Brewery
A 10-minute drive from the Tsuyama Interchange on the Chugoku Expressway. A sake brewery that has built an almost 300-year tradition in a land blessed with beautiful nature and clear streams. Their hallmark product is their Kamo-Itsuha refined sake which draws its name from the Kamo River and a Japanese white pine (Itsuha in Japanese) that was planted at the same time the brewery was founded. It's a Daiginjo top-quality sake made from Yamada Nishiki rice, perfect for sake brewing, milled 40% and the subterranean waters of the Kamo River resulting in an elegant smooth sake with a fruity aroma. Also recommended is their Sakushu Tsuyama Beer, a local beer made on-site in their factory.
