Meyona Shingu
"This is the only workshop in Japan that still presents magatama beads to the Izumo Taisha Grand Shrine, and it was founded in an area known for bead-making that became the set for myths. The workshop continues to make ""Izumo magatama"" used when the ""Izumo Kokuzo"" of the Izumo Taisha Grand Shrine would conduct rituals at the imperial palace for new emperors. It is in the country's leading production area for beads that has produced large quantities of magatama and beads since ancient times. The mysterious shape and deep, beautiful color still fascinate people, and make them feel like they have a mysterious spiritual power. ""Yasakani no Magatama"" is one of the three types of sacred treasures that mark the succession of the throne, along with the ""Yata no Kagami"" mirror and ""Kusanagi"" sword."
