Kajiya Onsen

A day-use bathhouse located in a verdant area in the mountains. The large hill-top public bath looks out on the surrounding terrain. The sulfate hydrogen carbonate spring is reputed to be good for nerve and joint pain as well as sensitivity to cold. There is also a break room with vending machines dispensing dairy products and soft drinks, so many come repeatedly to invigorate themselves over an extended period. It's very reasonably priced, and they provide amenities like shampoo, rinse, and body soap as well. A pick-up service is available from town for groups of 10 or more (reservations required).
