Bishamonten no Yu
"A footbath with a unique statue of two carps in the middle. Right near the gate for Togo Hot Spring Town, the water is said to be ideal for sensitivity to cold and helping relieve swelling. There's a spot next to it for boiling eggs in the hot spring water; bring some with you, and in about 20 minutes you can enjoy delicious boiled eggs known as ""onsen tamago."" Legend says the good luck of the carp transfer to two people if their feet touch the water, so their love will come to fruition. A visit to Shitori Shrine after that means they will be bestowed with children."
