Located inside the Uesugijoshien, one can enjoy Yonezawagyu beef at a reasonable price. In addition to the favorite Yonezawa beef dishes, steak, sukiyaki, and shabu, one can also enjoy local cuisine made with fresh seasonal produce. The Uesugi Castle garden specialties are the steak-don bowl, and the Uesugi hanazen set with ukogigo rice, cold-washed carp slices, hiyajiru miso rice porridge, and shio-biki sushi, all served as beautifully as a flower on a tray. Private rooms for parties or the 'frenchful course’ are available with reservations.
