Former Endo Family Residence
This historical building is in Nanatsudaki, Tamugimata, Tsuruoka City. It is one of the private homes of Tamugimata village, which prospered as a stopping point for pilgrims headed to Mt. Yudono, and demonstrates the “Kabutozukuri,” or “helmet construction” thatched roof style of the town. It is a Prefectural Registered Tangible Cultural Property.
