高松市の石に関する民俗に関する資料館です。館内はとても落ち着いていてゆっくり専門的に見ることができました。
天然石探し

ネットで見つけた天然石探しをしに行きました。午前10時頃に着きましたが、1回の定員が6名のため11時半からの回に。待ち時間は貸出無料のバドミントンやそり（芝生そり）で時間潰し。天然石探しは思いの外面白く、あっという間の30分でした。料金もひとり300円と財布に嬉しい設定です。

八栗駅構内に道案内はありません。途中の道路にも道標はありません。道はまっすくではなく急に曲がる箇所もあります。次第に前方の山の中腹にドーム状の建物が見えます。芝生広場は大勢の人がいて盛況。建物内は閑散。常設展示室は無料ですが一部の人は有料。マネキン人形があります。アクセスの大変さにくらべると物足りない。
