Nonoichi City Furusato History Museum (Former Uozumi Family Residence)
This structure was built as the home of a merchant family during the Ansei era at the end of the Edo period. Originally located in Hizume, Murai Village, Ishikawa County (now Hakusan City), the residence was purchased by the Uozumi family in 1900 and moved to its current location in Nonoichi. The facility stands just in front of the Hon-machi Intersection a short distance west on Honmachi-dori Street traveling from Nonoichi-Kodaimae Station. The structure is notable for its composite architecture, combining a townhouse-style hirairi facade with a farmhouse-style grid room layout inside. Inside, old-fashioned rice cultivating farm tools and implements of everyday life are displayed in connection with how life was once lived in the residence. Visitors can get a glimpse of how people once lived in Ishikawa Prefecture.

- 文化財に指定されている旧魚住家住宅を利用した郷土資料館です。建物自体が見る価値があるのですが、イェン自室が増設されていて、農機具などの展示紹介がされています。入館は無料です。
