A soba restaurant located behind the Ryoke Kannon Temple, the 25th temple of the Aizu 33 Kannon Temples. Located in a renovated kominka (old house) with high ceilings they serve soba noodles made with stone milled buckwheat using power of a water wheel. They serve 100% pure buckwheat soba noodles that are freshly ground, freshly made, and freshly boiled showing off the true green color of the soba. They only make as many noodles as was flour ground that morning and their soba isn't boiled until your order is placed. The slow speed of the water wheel prevents the buckwheat from heating allowing it to retain its natural fragrance. You can enjoy the fresh flavor of their recommended zaru soba with their three different original dipping sauces.

美味しいお蕎麦が食べたくて、辿り着きました。水車で蕎麦粉を引き手打ち蕎麦。三種類の出汁で頂く、鰹出汁、辛味大根、鳥だし!コシがあり美味しかったです!観音セットはかなりボリュームあるので、普通の天ざるで十分です。

会津高田にある古民家をお蕎麦屋さんとして営業しています。おそばは高遠を含む複数の味を楽しめます。場所は少しわかりにくいですが、駐車場も広く行きやすいです。
