This sake brewery cafe is attached to Suehiro Sake Brewery, which was founded in 1850. Built in 1892, this is the oldest of several warehouses, and offers coffee and sweets of the highest quality. The interior of the brewery's Japanese-style warehouse building is a comfortable space with chic furnishings. The coffee is brewed with the clear brewing water that is essential for making good sake. Their chiffon cake using Daiginjo, the highest grade of sake, is perfect for breaks during brewery tours.

1時間に一度、説明をしていただきながら見物出来ます。説明は、わかりやすくて興味をもてます。震災後の復興にも力をいれている酒蔵さんで、野口英世とも縁がある由緒ある家系です。最後に、ショップで試飲もさせていただけます。とても美味しかったです。

猪苗代まで来たのだからと思い、帰りちょっと遠回りをして訪れました。残念ながら「臨時休業」の張り紙。えーっ！ショックせっかく行ったのに。蔓延防止法のためらしいですが、再開未定とされていました。

会津若松市にある末廣酒造に訪れた。目的は酒蔵の見学だったが、訪れたときにはすでに時間が過ぎており、残念ながら見ることができなかった。それですこしでも末廣酒造のお酒を味わおうと、購入したのは「しゅわりん」。微炭酸でアルコール度数も低く甘みがある。まるでシャンパンを飲んでいるような気持ちだ。怖いもの見たさで買った1号瓶だったがこれならもう少し購入しておけばよかったと後悔してしまった。日本酒を飲めない女...
