Located at the end of a narrow alley on Flea Market Street, about a 5-minute walk from Tochigi City Hall, this teahouse faces the promenade along Tomoehagawa River and serves special anmitsu (sweet bean paste), ojiruko (sweet bean soup), handmade cakes, shaved ice, etc. The warm and cozy interior is a homey space with a nostalgic feel. The kiwi parfait with plenty of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream topped with kiwi sauce is a popular menu item that is not too sweet, making it the perfect stopover during a stroll through Tochigi City, a town of warehouses.

巴波川沿いにあり、蔵の街の散策中に一休みするのに適しています。パフェやあんみつ、軽食もいただけます。

栃木の蔵の街の中にあるカフェです。古い建物を再利用しているようでした。朝、栃木に到着して、とりあえずここでコーヒーをいただきます。スイーツ類も多く、女子向きかもしれません。
立地に恵まれた甘味処

巴波川沿いに位置している甘味処。川を挟んだ目の前に、横山郷土館の風情ある建築が建つ恵まれた立地。当日は気温が高く店内で休憩したが、季節が良ければ表の縁台で景色を楽しみながら…がおすすめ。メニューはひと通りの甘味が揃うが、頂いたのはパフェ。グラスの底までしっかりフルーツが入りなかなかのボリューム！店内には座敷席もあるので、ゆったり過ごすのには最適。
