This nature-embraced museum opened in 1994. One of its major draws is the lovely view of the Tateyama mountain range it offers. It collects and exhibits works by locally connected artists, as well as pieces in Japan's modern painting mainstream. The exhibitions change 4-6 times a year, focused around special exhibits.

立山連峰を楽しみながら美術に触れることができました。郷土作家の作品やコレクションなどを楽しくことができました。周りも自然いっぱいです！！
黒部市総合公園にある美術館

北陸新幹線の黒部宇奈月温泉駅から富山湾の方へ進むと黒部市総合公園が有ります。そこにこちらの美術館が有りました。森義利の生誕120年を記念した展示を見ることができました。躍動感あふれる版画が素晴らしかったです。
黒部立山アルペンルートから外れるかも

北陸新幹線開業記念「恋スル工芸展」を見に行きました。総合公園の中にあります。鉄道駅から公共交通機関でのアクセスは難しく、黒部立山アルペンルートツイテ寄りは難しいかも。ワンフロア３区画程の小さな建物。後からやって来たカップルが「これだけ？」と漏らしていたのが印象的。１５分一本勝負でサクッと見て回れます。撮影禁止の案内は室内やパンフで発見できませんでした。実態は不明です。
