Kyo Kibune Hiroya
"In Kibune, the ""back seat of Kyoto,"" visitors can enjoy dining on a kawadoko (riverbed) in summer, where the floor is stretched out over a mountain stream. The temperature is cooler than in the city, making the kawadoko even cooler. Restaurants offering dishes centering on river food, Nagashi Somen (flowing noodles), cafe space, etc., line the streets. Kyo Kibune Hiroya near Kibune Shrine is particularly popular for its kawadoko, where visitors can stretch out their legs and relax."

- River bed lunch experience
- I made reservation for riverbed set lunch online. This makes reservation easier for tourists than some other restaurants which require reservation by phone and the staff may not speak any language...
