"Located five minutes from Ishiwaonsen Station, the confectionery store ""Tsuchiya"" inside the long-established ryokan ""Itoyanagi"" is connected to the ryokan, but has a separate entrance and can be used without staying overnight. Its signature product is the Koshu Castella, made with honey and eggs from Yamanashi Prefecture, available in plain, brown sugar, green tea, and wasanbon, and can be purchased in single cuts. They also sell ""Dry Castella,"" which is made by drying the ears of the Castella."

石和名湯館糸柳内にある「甲州かすてら槌や」シュークリーム・カステラが有名。シュークリームは抜群に美味しく、クリームぎっしりで、シュー生地がもっちり。

くにたちに泊まるので、カステラはお茶うけで出ると思い、シュークリームを購入。とても美味しい。翌日お使い物として、カステラを購入。評判のティラミス氷を食べたかったが、コロナの影響で今年はお休みとのこと。残念…
