Shigaraki Togeimura
A Shigaraki ware pottery studio located in Nagano Shigaraki-cho, Koka City. The studio displays and sells tanuki raccoon dog figurines and other Shigaraki ware items. The studio also holds ceramics classes such as handmade pottery, pottery making using an electric potter’s wheel, ceramics painting, and tanuki figurine making (reservation required). The studio’s café, which operates out of a remodeled climbing kiln, serves sweets as well as an Omi beef barbecue course (reservation required).
