"Located in Kosai City, Shizuoka Prefecture, this memorial hall is dedicated to Sakichi Toyota, the founder of Toyota Group. You can see exhibits such as the ""Toyota-style wooden human-powered loom"" and reconstructed buildings such as the childhood home of Sakichi Toyota. Visited by many sight-seers, it includes the main houseand a separate cottage, and has been selected as city-designated historic sites."

自動織機を佐吉さんと喜一郎さんが築き上げた歴史を感じました。自動車同様に世界に認められる開発をしていた。日本の自働化はトヨタから始まったんですね。

数年前に一度訪問したが、その時は休館日で入れず今回こそとリベンジ。小雨の降る生憎の天候だったが、先ずは展示室で記帳して展示品、DVDを見て母屋、井戸、展望台を廻って生家へ！入場料無料にも関わらず手入れは素晴らしく、トイレやファシリティも充実。豊田佐吉翁を広く知ってもらいたいというトヨタの想いが伝わる施設。
無料駐車場もあります

トヨタの生家だけあり、大きな無料駐車場もあります。建物はひっそりと佇んでいますが博物館の展示も色々としてあります。今のトヨタになるまでの歴史を学ぶことができます。
