Yoshigo Shell Mound
A public park located in Tahara City, Aichi Prefecture. The park is located on one of the top sites in Japan for shell mounds dating to the late Jomon period and the park also displays cultural artifacts excavated during archeological digs. In the park's museum, visitors can view these artifacts as well as pictures and models which present the lives of the ancient people who once lived here. The museum also holds short class on making magatama comma-shaped beads, a common artifact found in the mounds.

- 縄文時代の骨が発掘
- みる貝や牡蠣などの貝塚に縄文時代の骨も出た貴重な移籍です。縄文土器のデザインは独創性はありませんでしたが、整備された博物館です。

- ワークショップがたくさん
- 史跡公園とその隣の資料室です。資料室は小さいながらに内容がギュッとつまっていてとても面白かったです。追加料金はかかりますが勾玉づくりや鹿の角で作るアクセサリーの体験もあり、お子さんのみならず大人に人気だそうです。わたしも勾玉を作りましたがとても楽しかったです。

- 貝塚がみられる
- 看板や表示はひっそりしているので、見逃してしまいそうです。貝塚がまじかでみられるのはとても貴重だと思います。
