Oyahama Beach
This official Shima City beach is accessible by riding the bus service from the Kintetsu UgataStation for approximately 20 minutes and walking a further five minutes from the Hamajima bus stop. The waves are calm, and the sandy beach is beautiful. During the summer, visitors can experience catching fish free of charge, as well as cooking them at the barbecue area, for a fee. Additionally, there are leisure items for hire, such as beach balls, parasols and beach chairs. Changing rooms, toilets and showers are also available, so families can easily enjoy themselves.
