Nunobiki Kannon Shakusonji Temple
"This is the common name of Shakusonji Temple, a temple of the Tendai Sect of Buddhism located in Komoro City, Nagano Prefecture. Famous as the birthplace of the legend of ""a cow led a woman to Zenkoji Temple,"" the temple is dedicated to Kannon Bodhisattva. The Kannondo Kuden is a nationally Important Cultural Property, and Hakusansha Shaden is a designated Prefectural Treasure. In addition, it is the 29th temple of the Shinano 33 Kannon Sacred Places, drawing visits by many worshippers."
