"This silkworm and silk museum is located in Komagane City, Nagano Prefecture. In the permanent exhibition on the first floor, they exhibit the history of silk and the process of weaving raw silk. In addition, there is an experiential workshop where you can come into contact with silk, and you can have various experiences such as ""cocoon crafts."" On the second floor, there is a museum shop, all-you-can-eat restaurant and other facilities, making it a place to enjoy yourself all day long."

孫娘たちと駒ヶ根に行った折に立ち寄った。久しぶりに繭を見た。孫娘たちは、はしゃぎながら創作に取り組んでいた。

宿のすぐ隣の施設で、閉館時間間際でしたが、管理者の計らいでゆっくりと見させていただきました。とても良い印象を受けたので、翌日、生糸の編み物体験をさせて頂きました。初心者でも施設指導で安心できます。
養蚕、製糸、シルクの博物館

この地域でかつて盛んであった養蚕のようすを中心に、当時の養蚕農家の復元、製糸の道具、機械、できるシルクなどが展示されています。特に、カイコの一生などの展示がわかりやすい。
