This famous handmade buckwheat noodle soba shop is in Gero Onsen. It's in a kominka (traditional Japanese house) a nine-minute walk from JR Takayama Main Line's Gero Station, and lots of its regular customers are locals. The shop strives to use healthful ingredients as much as possible, including their seasonings. Their Mushroom Soba loaded with Gero-grown shiitake, maitake, shimeji, and nameko mushrooms is a local favorite and the prefecture considers it super healthy. When tomatoes are in season, they also offer their one-of-a-kind Tomato Udon, with thick wheat flour noodles.

下呂散策中に店先に綺麗な花が飾られ、昼過ぎに入りました。店内は和風の趣のこじんまりとたお店ですが、ジャズが流れていました。きのこ蕎麦のころと家族はワカメうどんのころを注文。品の良い小振りの器でお蕎麦、うどんがきました。お蕎麦は細く若干柔らかめでした。うどんもこしがなかったよう。観光地値段で高めでした。

ご夫婦と思われるお二人でやっているお店です。小ぶりな店舗ですが趣があり飛騨のザ蕎麦屋って感じです。寒かったので暖かいおそばが食べたくきのこそばを注文。手打ちの蕎麦はもちろんのこと、きのこの味がよく出ており最高に美味しいおそばでした。並んでも食べたいおそがですよ。

下呂温泉のお蕎麦屋さんです値段は手頃で味も良いですキノコそばを食べました寒かったのであたたまりました
