Taisho-mura Museum / Taisho no Yakata

This is a museum in Akechi-machi designated as a cultural property of Ena City. Situated in the center of Nihon Taisho-mura, it exhibits various materials on the Taisho period (1912-1926). The museum and “Ginkogura” is a four-story wooden building with a manual elevator, and was a precious building that was large for the time. A remnant of the town of raw silk, it was the cocoon vault of a bank to store them. “Taisho no Yakata,” leading from the back on the south side of “Ginkogura,” is the site of the residence of the distinguished Hashimoto family who operated a rice dealership at the time and later a medical hospital.

全国の人形、教科書、新聞等々当時の生活に関する幅広い物が展示されていました。展示物を見ていると当時の文化や暮らしを想像できるところが面白いです。ただ、展示物のジャンルと量の多さゆえに逆に1つ1つの印象が残らなくなってしまうという心残りもありました。時間をかけてじっくりと回ることをおすすめします。これだけ展示物があるならそれぞれの展示物についてもっとわかりやすく解説するともっと当時のことをイメ...

大河ドラマの主人公明智光秀ゆかりの明智町の大正村にある。大河ドラマブームのせいか思ったより観光客が多かった。展示品は豊富で、朝ドラの時代背景と同じなので楽しめました。
内容の濃さは群を抜いています

日本大正村の主要施設、大正浪漫館、日本大正村資料館、大正時代館の中でもその資料やコレクションの膨大さで内容の濃さは群を抜いています。大正時代に発行された新聞は、明治天皇の崩御から始まって、桜島大噴火、第一次世界大戦、ロシア革命などの十大ニュース。蓄音機、映画のポスター、レコードのコレクションなども圧巻でした。
