A cafe located inside the Hakukokan interactive gold leaf museum operated by Hakuichi, a long-standing company which is involved in the vaunted Kanazawa craft of gold leaf production. Floor to ceiling windows on one side give the cafe an open and airy atmosphere, and in spring customers can enjoy a view of cherry blossoms. The most popular item on the menu, dazzling soft serve ice cream boldly decorated with gold leaf, has become a celebrated symbol of Kanazawa. The cafe also serves other desserts made with seasonal fruits like anmitsu sweet beans in syrup, light meals such as omelet rice made with a homemade tomato sauce, and local liquors and beers.

Best place to have the famous gold leaf ice cream in Kanazawa! The soft serve itself is really great. The gold leaf is prob more a touristy thing than anything, it does have an interesting texture...

箔一（891円）の金箔ソフトです。特に修学旅行生が多いですが、ソフトクリームですから、そんなに待ちません。食べ歩き禁止なので店内で食べます。金箔は美味しいわけではありませんが、インパクト代です。
