Wajima Kaiko
"A seafood rice bowl and sushi restaurant located in the Wajima Morning Market. The restaurant's most popular menu selection is its ""Kaiko-don,"" a seafood rice bowl topped with eight to nine seasonal seafood varieties and served with miso soup and pickles. Because it comes overloaded with seafood, the ""Kaiko-don"" is served in a rice bowl about two sizes bigger than usual. Another popular choice is the ""Wajima Fugu-don,"" a rice bowl completely covered with fresh, chewy fugu shipped straight from Wajima's fishing ports garnished with rare fugu whitebait. Diners can also take home the chopsticks which come with the ""Wajima Fugu-don"" as a souvenir."
