Inohana Beach
This charming beach is located at the junction of the old Hokuriku Road and Prefectural Route 193, looking over Sado Island in the sea with Mt. Yahiko standing to the north. It has a wide sandy beach and large shallow area with gentle waves. Even small children can play here without worry. Every year at the start of beach season a ceremony is held to pray for safety. Alongside this ceremony an event takes place in which people hunt for turban shell snails. 200 participants will be issued participation tickets giving them the chance to get their hands on the regional specialty, Izumosaki snails.
