Hachimantai Onuma

This marsh is in Towada-Hachimantai National Park, in Kazuno City, Akita Prefecture. This is known as the largest marsh in Hachimantai. In addition to viewing alpine plants like Asian Skunk Cabbage and hare's-tail cottongrass, it also offers wonderful autumn leaf viewing. They also offer special Onuma Guide Walk events on weekends and holidays for local residents and tourists.
