Mt. Moriyoshi

Mountain
This is an approx. 1,454 meter high mountain in Kitaakita City, Akita Prefecture. The highest areas offer views of alpine flowers like shiraneaoi (glaucidium palmatum) and hinazakura cherry. Chosen as one of Japan's 100 Best Flower Mountains, it's very popular with climbers in the blossom season. There is also a very popular gondola to the peak.
