Hachinohe City Fishery Science Museum Marient

Museum / Science Museum
A museum which seeks to convey the wonders of the sea from the perspective of fisheries. The museum has many exhibits, including a giant aquarium filled with fish from the ocean off of Hachinohe, a touch tank where visitors can actually touch live sea creatures, and a black-tailed gull exhibit. The museum's feeding demonstrations, deep sea virtual reality exhibit, and experiment corner are popular with children. Visitors are also recommended to eat in the museum's observatory restaurant, which offers a sweeping view of Hachinohe Port.
