A roadside station located in Minmaya, a village deeply connected to legends relating to the mighty samurai Minamoto no Yoshitsune and where one can still find many intriguing traces linking to Yoshitsune throughout the village. The station is adjoined by the Seikan Tunnel Museum and a facility presenting the science of the Tappi Wind Park. The station has a shop selling local products and produce, the well-reviewed Ajisai restaurant serving seafood and other dishes. The shop's Minmaya Kombu kelp and Minmaya Wakame seaweed, grown in the tidal currents of the Tsugaru Strait, are particularly popular.

道の駅としては少々寂しい

道の駅として独立はしておらず、青函トンネル記念館に道の駅としての機能を加えた施設です。土産品売り場はありますが、道の駅としてみると少々寂しい感じですね。
「道の駅みんまや」は大きくないけど、「駐車場」は大きかったでした。

「道の駅みんまや」は大きくないけど、「駐車場」は大きかったでした。それだけのイメージかな。ちなみに「青函トンネル記念館」の隣にありますよ。
駐車場は広大

竜飛崎は予想以上に遠い。昼間に移動すると時間がもったいないと考える人は夜移動してここで車中泊するのがおススメ。トイレは貧相だけど駐車場は広大。朝から青函トンネル記念館に行くことができます。
