Boyodo Tateyamaginza Branch located two minutes’ walk from Tateyama Station in Hojo, Tateyama City is a traditional Japanese confectionary shop. The hallmark product is Hananakko, a foiled-and-baked sweet using bean paste made with egg yolk. It also makes and sells sweets such as Ichigo daifuku (red bean paste and a strawberry wrapped in a rice cake) which is available only from January to early April and uses strawberries from Tateyama and can be enjoyed with two types of bean paste: white and black.
