Nakatsu Gorge

Valley
A beautifully scenic gorge extending approximately 10 kilometers created by the Nakatsu River, a tributary of the Arakawa River. The azaleas in spring, the fresh green of early summer are lovely, but the autumn foliage is particularly recommended. The sight of the steep walls of the gorge dyed red and gold is, in a word, stunning.
