Machinaka Sightseeing Information Center, Otomichan's House

Located just a five-minute walk from the World Heritage Tomioka Silk Mill, Otomichan’s House is a souvenir complex that houses a tourist information center and a rest area. This complex sells a large variety of silk products, sweets and other local specialties that make great gifts. The mascot of Tomioka City, Otomichan themed goods are very popular too. Tour tickets for the Tomioka Silk Mill are available for purchase here as well as power-assisted bicycle rentals. The Machinaka Sightseeing Information Center is a welcoming place for all.

富岡にあるお土産店、まちなか観光物産館お富ちゃん家。入り口でお富ちゃんが出迎えてくれるお土産店です。界隈のお土産店の中では大きいのでお土産の種類も豊富でした。

一番大きな宮本町駐車場からでも上州富岡駅からでも、富岡製糸場に向かうルートに在りますので便利です。製糸場に因んだお土産も色々揃っています。製糸場が混んでいても、ここならゆっくり買い物出来ますし、休憩も可能です。
