The shop’s tama konnyaku are steeped in a soy sauce-based broth similar to oden. Customers can add self-serve toppings such as karashi mustard, and many commenters on internet dining review websites note how the piping hot konnyaku warms you up from the inside out. 伊香保温泉は群馬県。群馬県と言えばこんにゃくが名物。こんにゃくを一口サイズの団子状にしておでんのようにして売っています。串に刺したこんにゃくを片手に石段街を散策している観光客も沢山います。石段街の沿道のお店では名物店もあり、取材に訪れた有名人の写真が貼ってあります。これから寒くなる秋から冬は体が温まります。

伊香保の旅館に泊まり翌日にこちらに立ち寄りました。お店の扉が閉まっていましたが、中は明かりがついており、表には営業中の看板がありました。やっていないのかなと思ったのですが扉に、ご用がある方はお電話下さいと電話番号が書いてあったので電話したところ、とても面倒な態度で要件を聞いてきたので「玉こんにゃくお願いしたいのですが」と伝えたところ「今日やってねぇから」と言われ切られました。しばらくしてお店の前を...
