Dogo Uotake

This restaurant serving local cuisine is located close to Dogo Onsen Honkan in Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture. Customers can savor typical local cuisine centering around seafood from the Seto Inland Sea as well as plenty of Iyo meat and vegetables. Its most famous dish is the Dogo tendon rice bowl topped with a generous portion of prawn, chikuwa fish sausage and vegetable tempura. It is a superb dish of which the restaurant is proud and for which ingredients are carefully selected right down to the sauce, rice, miso soup and pickles. Uotake Pirate Udon, a noodle dish with a generous portion of seafood from the sea that used to be associated with local pirates and Uwajima sea bream rice (rice topped with fresh sea bream sashimi) are both popular.
