"A soba restaurant located on the second floor of the red-tile building No. 8 ""Akagawara Hachi-go-kan"" in the Kurayoshi Shirakabe Dozogun (group of white-walled storehouses made of soil). The homemade soba noodles contain buckwheat flour from the foot of Mt. Daisen and are prepared every morning using the traditional ""yugone"" (kneading flour with hot water) method. Such noodles are thin but firm and chewy, making them the owner's specialty. The names of the restaurant's menu item, including ""Tennyo (heavenly maiden) Soba"" and other elegant names, are derived from the legend of the Utsubuki Tennyo."

    美味しいお蕎麦で有名です。駐車場はそんなに広くありません。つゆも美味しく、蕎麦湯も必ずいただきます。本格的なお蕎麦屋さんです。

    倉吉の白壁土蔵と赤瓦の街並みを散策していた私たち。その街並みを一回りしたあたりにあったのが赤瓦8号館でした。この8号館は、1階が「ふるさと物産館」というお土産屋さんで、2階に、こちらの「打吹庵」が入っていました。いただいたのは「童子そば」。ざるそばに近いおそばで、平べったい焼き物の器に入ってやってきました。醤油の香りがやや強めのつゆでいただいた童子そばは、なんだかなつかしい味でした。
