大正レトロな雰囲気のある老舗茶房

「津和野カトリック教会」の目の前で、津和野散策の休憩に最適のカフェです。津和野銘菓の源氏巻を作っている様子をガラス越しに眺めることができ、和紙人形などの郷土民芸品が所狭しと並んでいます。小豆あん、抹茶あん、白あんを１個ずつ食べ比べできる「源氏巻三種食べ比べセット」と「自家製シフォンケーキセット」が看板メニュー。令和元年に藩校養老館で行われた将棋竜王戦では、広瀬元竜王も注文されたそうです。

11月15日に友人夫婦の結婚40年記念に、久しぶりに津和野に行きました。町並みを歩き、休憩に喫茶へ入りコーヒーなど4点注文しました。中に年配の係員が3人居たにも関わらず、カウンターの老人の対応のみで20分近くなにもしなかったので、キャンセルして出ました。全くおもてなしがなってないお店初めてです。久しぶりの津和野、がっかりでした。
旬の食材を使った料理が美味しい

地元などで水揚げされた新鮮な魚介類やお肉やとれたて野菜をふんだんに使った旬の季節料理が美味しいです。うずら飯など地元の料理がおいしいです。
